April 2007 - Royal Jubilee Alumnae Gardens - Parks and Recreation Foundation of Victoria donated $4500.00 for trees in the garden.

Feb 19 2007 - Maquette of the Emily Carr Statue Unveiled at Carr House - Gifted sculptor Barbara Paterson, Jane Milner - Assistant Deputy Minister responsible for Arts and Culture, Ministry of Tourism Sport and the Arts, Jan Ross, Manager of Emily Carr House and Ann Geddes, President of the Parks and Recreation Foundation of Victoria unveiled the “Our Emily” maquette marking the start of National Heritage Week. Parks and Recreation Foundation of Victoria contributed $6,725.00 toward this project.

Jan 2007 - Greenheart Tree Restoration Fund - City Fundraiser to Replace Ruined Trees - Parks and Recreation Foundation of Victoria will partner with the City in the campaign to replace trees destroyed in the winter snow and wind storms in Beacon Hill Park, Ross Bay Cemetery and along several boulevards.

Dec 2006 - Beacon Hill Water Play Park - The Hugh and Helen Morgensen Fund donated $2,000 for materials involved in the construction of the Watering Can feature.

Nov 2006 - Beacon Hill Water Play Park - The Parks and Recreation Foundation Board determined a number of years ago that we would assist in the costs of the renewal of the wading pool/spray park in Beacon Hill.
A $10,000 grant from the Victoria Foundation helps bring the Parks and Recreation Foundation closer to its sponsor target contribution of $131,000. It is anticipated that the Water Play Park will be open for use in the summer of 2007.

Oct 2006 - Emily Carr Statue Fund - This was created in May 2004. The estimated cost for the project is $200,000.
The BC Ministry of Tourism, Sport and The Arts, Heritage Branch - $5,000 contribution.
The BC Women in History Network - $ 155.00 donation.

Oct 2006 - Central Park Up Grade This October the revitalization of Central Park was completed with the installation of new playground equipment. Parks and Recreation Foundation of Victoria supported the Play Park area at Central Park in the order of $2,000.

Sept 2006 - Highlights of the year - grossing over $37,000 in revenue, expending over $104,000 on projects such as the Beacon Hill Spray Park, James Bay New Horizons program equipment, and memorial benches.
